Travel guides

We believe that today’s guide books aren’t good enough for the budget traveller and hitchhiker. Too many recommendations list the cheapest options at eye-watering prices and have too little imagination on ways to save money and travel further. Our aim is to provide the most detailed information we can provide focused on the cheapest options without missing out on the experiences.

With this is in mind we have decided to split our guidebooks into two parts, city guide and country guides. In both, we aim to provide you with everything you need for a successful trip. We tell you about the positives and the negatives, must-see guides, monument information and more…

We also intend to give you all the information you will need to hitch-hike out of cities including useful maps and directions based on both our own and our readers experiences. We also provide a wealth of information on suggested routes for your hitch-hiking journey and local road and driving information. Useful tools that save hours of research.

Country Guides

In our country guides we provide information on:

.→ visa regulations

→ advantages & disadvantages of hitch-hiking

→ things to be aware of (food & drink, accommodation, safety etc…)

→ road information and maps

→ essential phrasebook

→ border crossing info

→ recommendations for the most stunning places to visit

→ and more…

.
