Travel Photography Competition – week 111
The first winner in this week’s competition is a lovely sunset shot taken on Agudela Beach located in the Porto region of Portugal. The sandy beach can be found in the parish of Lavra, which was an ancient settlement occupied before the Romans invaded these lands. You can also find megalithic remains that are around 5000 years old.
In second position, a beautiful night image showing Sydney cityscape reflections. Sydney is the capital of New South Wales, the most populous city in Australia and a very multicultural metropolis with 4,7 million people and over 250 different languages spoken. The city also has an advanced market economy, specialising in finance, tourism and manufacturing, and it makes more money a year than Denmark, Hong Kong or Singapore.

And the last winning picture this week was taken in Mupe Bay located east of Lulworth Cove in Dorset, England, UK. The beach, which is part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, is open to the public and can be reached by a 2.5-kilometre walk from the car park at Lulworth Cove.
