Travel Photography Competition – week 98

Pétur Gunn Photography - Blue Lagoon, Iceland

Hello everyone and welcome to the 98th edition of our popular weekly Travel Photography Competition! This week we are looking at the photos posted on our Facebook page between 2nd and 9th July.

This week we’ve got three stunning shots taken on three different continents so join us as we travel from the rough coast of Australia, to Canada’s beautiful national park and onwards to the geysers of Iceland.

The first winner of this week’s competition was taken in Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia. Surfers Paradise, being one of Australia’s iconic coastal tourist destinations, is a suburb within the area of Gold Coast City. Surfers Paradise is considered by many to have one of Australia’s best east coast beaches and is home to the annual Surfers Paradise Festival focused on local music, food, fashion, film and art.
