Hello everyone and welcome to the 86th edition of our popular weekly Travel Photography Competition! This week we are looking at the photos posted on our Facebook page between 8th and 15th April.

Take a look at the three stunning photos that won this week’s edition, but also don’t forget to vote in the yearly edition of our Competition and help us choose the most talented travel photographer of the year.

The first winning photo is this week’s competition shows Mount Rundle at sunset seen from Vermillion Lakes in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. Banff is the oldest National Park of the Rocky Mountains and it comprises numerous glaciers, ice fields, thick pine forests and stunning alpine landscapes. The entry fees vary between $3.90 and $9.80 (student/adult). For more information, visit the Park’s official website.

And the last winner this week was taken at sunset in Valleè Etroite, a French-Italian valley located in the Hautes Alps in the north east of the Névache municipality (France) and in the Province of Turin in the municipality of Bardonecchia (Italy). The valley has been Italian for a long time but became partly French by the Treaty of Paris in 1947. It has, however, kept its Italian signposts.
