Hello friends, travellers and photographers from around the world! We are back with a fresh selection of your favourite photos sent to our  Facebook page between 11^th and 18^th December 2012.

Like every week, we show here the three photos which got most of YOUR votes in our Travel Photography Competition.

We love discovering amazing places this planet has to offer and with our contributing travel photographers it’s become possible even when we cannot travel! Join our community to share your own photos, see other people’s work and find the perfect place for your next holiday!

We’ll start this week’s selection with this stunning photo taken in the north Germany. Idyllic countryside, delicate mist in the frosty air and the beam of lights poking through the tree’s branches give this image a mysterious yet familiar air.

Our second winner this week is this great shot of the Tunnel view in Yosemite National Park, California, USA. The view looks into Yosemite Valley including the  faces of El Capitan, Half Dome, and Bridalveil Fall. For many this iconic view is one of the most popular attractions of the Park.

Yosemite National Park has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is visited by nearly 4 million people a year.

This great shot was sent by Brian Hammonds, a photographer and teacher based in Madrid, Spain. If you like his work, visit his Flickr Photostream for more.

And the last winning photo this week was taken at St Michael’s Mount, Cornwall, United Kingdom. It’s a small tidal island, located 366 metres off the coast of Cornwall, which the island is connected with.

This, crowned by a medieval church and a castle, rocky mountain is still home to a small living community.
