❶ Cambodia elephants – Beware! Elephants crossing! We saw this sign in Cambodia, near Angkor Wat.

❸ No durians allowed – Durians are tropical fruit infamous for their awful odour. They stink like dung and taste like warm mashed onion, so no wonder they are not allowed in this fancy hotel! Georgetown, Malaysia.

❹ No horns – I believe in Vietnam, “no horns” is just a suggestion which is followed by nobody. Everyone drives like crazy and uses their horns like air. Actually, I found Ho Chi Minh City to be one of the noisiest places in the world.

❺ Tank – My Google translate told me that “tank çıkışı” means “tank outlet”. Reduce speed, tanks are coming! Istanbul, Turkey

❻ No guns – We saw this sign on a bar door in Sofia, Bulgaria. If I had known there was no gun policy I wouldn’t have taken my gun all the way from home… Damn!
